A multi-talented Leicestershire doctor has made a film for Netflix about women wearing turbans. Called 'Kaur', it's about a British South Asian Sikh girl who decides to wear the turban against her father's wishes. Parvinder Shergill writes and stars in the film. She told Ady Dayman that she wanted to celebrate and highlight women who wear the symbolic headwear usually only worn by men on-screen.
