World's 'most advanced' wind turbines tested in Blyth

New 'super' wind turbines with blades three times the Angel of the North’s wingspan will now be tested in Northumberland. The National Renewable Energy Centre at Blyth, will test turbine blades - up to 180m long - after winning £86m in funding to extend its facilities. Matt Bailey speaks to Charles Thompson, director of corporate affairs at Catapult's National Renewable Energy Centre.
