Over 150 hexagonal tiles with textured designs have been put up on sea walls in Falmouth, Plymouth and Mevagissey, to provide a sanctuary for sea creatures. There are also plans to install more tiles in Newquay, Padstow and Port Isaac The tiles are a relatively new concept in the UK and have been inspired by those in Australia called Living Sea Walls.
