The Human Rights Watch co-founder, Aryeh Neier, has accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. Mr Neier, who is Jewish and a Holocaust survivor, said Israel had done so by obstructing the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza since the start of the war there. His accusation follows the launching of a case in December by South Africa at the International Court of Justice attempting to prove that Israel was committing genocide in the war against Hamas.
