Mohammad Farooq, 28, targeted St James's Hospital in January 2023 but was stopped by a member of the public. A trial at Sheffield Crown Court heard how the clinical support worker had planned to "kill as many nurses as possible" by detonating a pressure cooker bomb. Jurors unanimously convicted Farooq, of Hetton Road in Leeds. He will be sentenced at a later date. Emma Glasby reports.
