It's a big year for Phil Brind is the MD of the Tiverton Canal Company, who operate the living heritage attraction and can take you on a horse drawn barge along the great western canal as they have been operating for 50 years. With only 2 such attractions surviving in the UK, preserving the history of the barges is important to staff and visitors alike, as Hattie McCann found out.
