Churchill's Olympic push for Paris

Available for over a year

A Cambridge academic has made a remarkable discovery in a local archive from exactly a century ago. A speech has been uncovered showing how future prime minister Winston Churchill tried to raise money for GB's Olympics effort in Paris in 1924. Allen Packwood runs the former wartime leader's archive at Churchill College in Cambridge and tells Chris Mann about his findings.
