People living in Jarrow tell reporter Andy Watson that their area is now full of rats after bin strikes. The dispute between refuse workers in the GMB Union and South Tyneside Council saw bin collections disrupted for eight months between October and July.  Figures from South Tyneside Council reveal that rat sightings are at their highest level since lockdown.
