A social media scammer going by the name 'Karen Adams' posed as a Christmas market organiser for Bolton Gate Farm in Weston Coyney to get people to send money to pay for a stall. It turns out 'Karen' was running this scam across the country in Liverpool, Kent, Oxfordshire and Yorkshire. Â鶹Éç reporter Matt Weigold uncovered 'Karen' and tried to get hold of her. Emma Sanders is the real organiser of Bolton Gate Farm Christmas market and says it's not the first time this scam has happened. Tony Shore is the Operations Manager at Staffordshire County Council Trading Standards and tells us the precautions people can take to make sure they aren't targeted by social media scams.
