Meet our Volunteer of the Year, Len Keeling, from Worcestershire, who supports military families at their hardest times. He tells Tammy Gooding how he ensures that if a family wants a military funeral, he helps make it happen. Len's nominator said: 'Len's impact extends far beyond the confines of his community; it reverberates through the lives of countless families who find solace in his compassion and dedication. His selfless service embodies the very essence of what it means to be a soldier - a steadfast commitment to duty, honour, and service to others. In the hearts of those he has touched, Len's legacy shines brightly as a beacon of hope and reverence'. He was crowned the winner in the volunteer category of the Â鶹Éç Hereford & Worcester Make A Difference Awards 2024, in a ceremony at West Midlands Safari Park. Inspired by this story?
