MK clothes bank seeing ‘unheard of’ demand
Available for over a year
A clothes bank in Milton Keynes has reported an increase in demand, particularly from low-income pensioners. Rachel Kleinsmith, manager of the MK Storehouse in Stacey Bushes, believes it’s a response to the government’s proposed change which will see only those on pension credit receive winter fuel allowance. Amy Holmes has been hearing about the impact that has had on the charity. (Photo credit: Amy Holmes/Â鶹Éç)
