Kate, which isn’t her real name, contacted the Â鶹Éç to investigate on learning her abuser was set for early release. The Ministry of Justice said it was an error and he wasn’t eligible for early release, due to the nature of his crime. They contacted the Victim Support Scheme and offered additional support in this case as soon as the extent of the issue was known.
