Church organ rescue appeal to raise £200k has been launched to save a heritage instrument that for nearly 120 years has been the soundtrack to services in Our Lady Star of the Sea & St Michael's Church in Workington. With a 1092 pipes it's a 6 month restoration project that will see the organ removed from the church for some tender loving care..
