Why are some children in London not being vaccinated?

Available for over a year

Figures published by London Councils show just 72% of children in the capital have had two doses of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine by the age of 5 - the lowest of any English region. The newly founded campaign 'Why We Get Vaccinated' is attempting to encourage Londoners to talk about vaccines. According to the World Health Organisation, 95% of a population has to be vaccinated to prevent the spread of disease. Councillor Kaya Comer-Schwartz, London Councils' Executive Lead for Health, spoke to Â鶹Éç Radio London's Eddie Nestor.
