Photojournalist Paul Lowe 'wanted to show world what was going on' - widow

Weekend

Available for over a year

The award-winning British photojournalist Paul Lowe was found stabbed to death on a hiking trail in California a week ago. Mr Lowe’s 19-year-old son, Emir Abadzic Lowe, has been charged with his murder. Paul Lowe covered many conflicts, including the 1990s war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. His best-known photographs emerged out of the siege of Sarajevo. He also taught photojournalism in Sarajevo and London and was sometimes a panelist on Weekend. Weekend's Julian Worricker has spoken to Mr Lowe's widow, Amra Abadzic Lowe. The sequence begins with Paul Lowe speaking on the programme in February 2021.
