There are 30 ponds across Hampstead Heath, with three available to be used for swimming - one of which is exclusive to women. Swimming in the ladies' pond became permitted in 1926, more than thirty years after the men's pond. Â鶹Éç Radio London's Sarah Morris braved the cold temperatures to find out more.
