Orfordness Lighthouse was taken down because the sea was eroding the shingle beach it stood on for over 200 years. Matt Marvel and his son were the final visitors to the lighthouse in July 2020 when invited over by the lighthouse owner Nicholas Gold. (Picture Credit 鈥 麻豆社/Martin Barber)
