"We need to turn the tap of hate off" says Baroness Warsi

Asad Ahmad

Available for over a year

When Baroness Warsi initially sat down to write her book, Muslims Don't Matter, she felt anger, fear and heartbreak. The lawyer and former Co-Chair of the Conservative Party was the first Muslim woman to have a seat in cabinet, different generations on both sides of her family served in the British Indian Army and her son is in the Armed Forces. Despite all this, as a British Muslim Baroness Warsi feels she has to constantly prove her loyalty. She tells Â鶹Éç Radio London's Asad Ahmad there is hope for change but the "tap of hate" needs to be turned off from those in positions of authority and power.
