What does Storm Darragh mean for Leicestershire?

Available for over a year

Storm Darragh is set to bring damaging winds to many parts of the UK. Conditions will turn wet and windy on Friday afternoon, with Met Office yellow severe weather warnings in place from 15:00 GMT. As this develops further into Saturday, this becomes Storm Darragh with its centre crossing northern England. An amber severe weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for strong winds in Northern Ireland, south-west Scotland and western areas of England and Wales from 03:00 GMT to 21:00 GMT on Saturday. Leicestershire weather watcher Phil Morrish told Â鶹Éç Leicesters' Ady Dayman what we should expect locally, and gave some useful advice.
