Tributes to comic Duncan 'chase me' Norvelle

Available for over a year

Comedian Duncan Norvelle, known for his trademark 'Chase me' catchphrase, has died at the age of 66, his agent has said. Norvelle was born in Hoton near Loughborough in Leicestershire, and was a familiar face on British TV in the 1980s, appearing on various TV shows including Surprise Surprise, Wogan and the Keith Harris Show. His management team paid tribute in a statement, saying: 'Duncan was a comedy genius and British icon ahead of his time who loved show business.' Former Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester presenter Martin Ballard, who had interviewed Duncan many times, spoke to Ady Dayman.
