New freedom of information figures show that reports of sexual assault to Dorset police resulted in just 150 out of over 2200 charges or summons - a rate of nearly 7%. The law firm behind the research say that's 'staggeringly low' - the police force admit more could be done. Temporary Superintendent Neil Wright, Force Lead for Rape and Serious Sexual Offences and Violence Against Women and Girls at Dorset Police and Ellie Lamey, a Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority Specialist, respond to the figures.
