Diglis Avenue residents feel that not enough is being done to protect Worcester Riverside Park after recent flooding. Elliot Webb reports with Belinda Moseley at her home near the waterfront, to see her concerns after a large number of trees have fallen in to the river and stretches of the bank and footpath have been eroded and damaged. So who owns the land? The Canal and River Trust told us it's the navigation authority for the River Severn rather than the owner of the river bed and banks. Meanwhile, Worcester City Council told us it wasn't them, but if the tress had fallen into he river, either Severn Trent or the Canal and River Trust would be responsible. A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said, "We believe the trees are not on highway land, but if the resident reports the trees to us via the report it section of our website, we'll investigate it."
