Sir Keir Starmer will visit the White House next week, in what will be his first trip to the US since Donald Trump became president. After a week which has seen America's longstanding support for Ukraine up-ended, the prime minister will have to tread a fine diplomatic line between his loyalties to Kyiv and his desire to win the ear of Mr Trump.
