Kendal sports pitch tragedy

A 10 year old girl has died after being struck by a car which crashed on to the pitch at Kendal Rugby Club. Tim Farron, the MP for the area, said "The whole town is utterly, utterly devastated by this." Cumbria Police arrested a 40-year-old man from Lancaster on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
