Light Up Leicester gives the city a 'glow up'

Light Up Leicester got underway on Wednesday evening, and thousands of people headed into the city to take a twinkly tour around an illuminated trail. The free festival, taking place until Saturday 15th March, has given Leicester a bit of a 'glow up', with almost a dozen different pieces of artworks scattered around the city centre, not to mention the performances and parades that have been organised alongside them. Â鶹Éç Leicester's Hannah Meredith was there to soak up the atmosphere.
