While much of the press were reporting from behind police lines, at the height of the August 2024 riots, File on 4 Investigates was embdedded with the very people considered the culprits. Reporter Paul Kenyon and Producer Alys Harte describe the scenes as police came under pressure on the front line of the violence. As protestors in balaclavas and face masks hurled bricks and fought the police with considerable violence, the team are forced to back off through the hail of bricks.
