When the Second World War broke out, around 3.5 million children were evacuated to the countryside, but not all of them. Christopher Munro grew up during the Blitz and tells his story of growing up in Liverpool during that traumatic time - in a new book from author, Nuala Calvi. ‘Blitz Kids’ features true accounts of people who experienced The Blitz in Liverpool and London.
