Ruth Jones has won the Bafta award for best female performance in a comedy at last night’s ceremony for her role as fan-favourite Nessa in Gavin and Stacey. Speaking to Today’s Anna Foster, Ruth – who reprised the character on stage during her acceptance speech – says what she loves about the character is that “she can be rude to people and people seem to love it”. The actress also spoke about her close friendship with writing partner James Corden, saying she hopes the pair “will do more together”.
