Southend United midfielder Gus Scott-Morriss says he's 'just about recovered' after receiving a knock to the head during the celebrations of the Blues reaching the National League play-off final at Wembley Stadium. The 28-year-old scored the winning penalty for the Blues in a 4-2 shootout win against Forest Green Rovers, having drawn 2-2 after extra time. While celebrating at The New Lawn, a fan caught the right-wing-back in the head as he was sliding on the ground to celebrate. Scott-Morriss told Tom Williams that the season has been a 'rollercoaster', leading to a meeting with Oldham Athletic at the 90,000-seater Wembley Stadium for a chance to return to the English Football League for the first time in four years.
