Meet the guys who show Andrew Carter how they feed, water and repair the 130 ton beasts. Kingmoor depot is operated by DRS, and it's here that locomotives have the equivalent of an MOT, and drop in to refuel. It's a hidden part of the railway network, which is essential for the safe running of freight trains, that can be half a mile long and take two miles to stop.
