Why do people want to ban flying rings?

Available for over a year

Shopkeepers in Cornwall are being encouraged to stop selling flying plastic rings to help protect marine wildlife. The toys can get stuck around the neck of seals and other animals when they're discarded or lost when people play with them on the beach. Cornwall Council are now advising people not to use the rings and shops not to stock them.
