A Leicestershire farmer says a move to turn a farming field into a burial ground has proved popular with local people. Castle View Farm, in Bottesford created a natural burial ground on land to the east of Normanton Lane, providing a peaceful environment for remembrance at a site filled with wildflowers and views of the countryside. It provides a sustainable alternative to conventional burial without the formality and memorials of traditional cemeteries. Claire Goodson from Castle View Farm in Bottesford explained to Âé¶¹Éç Leicester's Ady Dayman that creating the Vale of Belvoir Natural Burial Ground was a win-win for her and the community.
