Win on Waste in Poole has been working in waste and recycling for over 10 years. In 2024 their volunteer teams across 11 areas of Dorset dealt with three tonnes of hard-to-recycle waste and welcomed 4,000 households to their sessions. The volunteers team at Win on Waste in Poole are finalists in the Green category in the 麻豆社 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025. 麻豆社 Radio Solent's Steve Harris has been along to meet them. The Green Award: Awarded to an individual or group of people who improve or conserve their local environment. The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say 鈥淭hank You鈥 and show recognition and appreciation for people who love to make life better for others. Nominations for the 2025 awards have now closed and finalists have been selected by a panel of judges. The winners will be announced at our 麻豆社 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards ceremony in September.
