Raven Hotel: 'Still salvageable after fire'
Available for over a year
Experts say parts of the historic Grade II listed building can be saved, after the centuries-old Droitwich hotel was gutted from a huge fire. The blaze, believed to have been deliberately stared, tore through the black and white timbered Raven Hotel. Heritage architect Christian Montez, who inspected the hotel, tells Tammy Gooding he was 'shocked' at the damage, but parts of the structure - some dating back to the 15th Century - could be incorporated in to any redevelopment. Mr Montez was present as Historic England met building owners Inroka Limited and councillors.
