Birmingham busking crackdown is 'outrageous'
Available for over a year
Birmingham City Council are cracking down on busking and street preaching in parts of the city centre. They're introducing a Public Space Protection Order which bans amplification equipment and musical instruments on Victoria Square, New Street, Temple Street, Cannon Street, Needless Alley and part of Waterloo Street. The authority say they're introducing this because of a significant number of complaints about noise. Sarah Julian spoke to busker David Fischer from Druid's Heath about the plans.
