Amazing wildlife photos compete for top prize
Available for over a year
A primary schoolgirl whose picture of a rutting stag in Bradgate Park was highly commended in a major photography competition has told us how nature's inspired her. Jamie Smart took the picture during a two day photography trip to the park which she'd won in another contest. The image has been highly commended in the under-10s category of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and will now go on display at the Natural History Museum. This year, a record-breaking 60,000 pictures were entered. A team of experts in photography, filmmaking, conservation, and science are picking their favourites. Jamie told Â鶹Éç Leicester's Ady Dayman about the circumstances which led to the moment caught on camera. Image: Jamie Smart / Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
