Paralympics legend retires from rowing

Available for over a year

Lauren Rowles, from Bromsgrove, was the first woman to win three rowing golds at three consecutive Paralympic Games. But it's not the last you'll see of the 27-year-old competing, announcing plans to return to the track as a wheelchair racer, which is how she started her career. The athlete, one of Worcestershire's most successful ever, tells Malcolm Boyden how she's developed an appreciation, 12 months after her historic win in Paris, for the quieter moments life has.
