"A moral failure on an institutional scale"

Available for over a year

A Guernsey resident who was dismissed from the British Army for being gay has received an apology letter from the UK government and a ceremonial beret. Homosexuality started being decriminalised in the UK in 1967 but a ban continued in the armed forces until 2000. Reporter Euan Duncan spoke to Linda Garnham about how it felt to receive the apology.
