Discover proposals for a huge overhaul of the Grade II listed attraction in Droitwich, including building 127 new homes and four business units on the site, as well as directing a walking and cycling route. The doors of the iconic Worcestershire landmark were closed in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Owner Rod Spollon explains how he wants to tear down obsolete buildings and extensions, which would be renovated and re-opened as a hotel and restaurant. Tom Edwards reports. A planning application is sat with Wychavon District Council. If approved, the work is expected to take around three years to finish.
