Raymond and Joan Powell from Rubery first met aged 20 and 19 respectively, on a theatre trip to London. Joan recalls to Emma Davies how rationing limited their wedding and honeymoon, which was a four-day excursion to Banbury, via taxi. They say the secret to a happy marriage is sharing and going through tough times together.
