From teen amputee to role model athlete

Make a Difference: North East

Available for over a year

Here is an incredible example of having the right mind set and never giving up. At thirteen years old Olly Liddle from Whitley Bay was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and had his leg amputated. In the years since, he's gone on to be an international athlete, winning medals in para-power-lifting and now hopes to get funding to help guide young amputees back into sport.
