The battle to save Ratcliffe's cooling towers
Available for over a year
The Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station is one of Nottinghamshire's most iconic sights, but earlier this month, Rushcliffe Borough Council gave the formal go-ahead for the site's demolition. The Twentieth Century Society, which works to protect architecture from the past 100 years, say they've not giving up the fight to save the towers. Catherine Croft, the society's director, told Summaya about the campaign.
