The mystery of the missing Paris catwalk necklace
Available for over a year
Craftsman Malcolm Morris had made the silver jewellery, which features a taxidermy butterfly mounted behind a rock crystal dome as its centrepiece, for a friend who offered it to designer Alexander McQueen, who later to become the head of French fashion house Givenchy. The one-off piece, created in 1994, was transported to Paris – and then went missing. Now Sarah Burns-Collins, who has worked with Mr Morris for decades, is appealing for more information as she puts together a 50-year retrospective on the craftsman's work. Sarah spoke to Rima Ahmed about the disappearance. Image Credit: Gold Lark Jewellery
