In March 1950 London hosted a Ski jumping competition on Hampstead Heath. The snow had to be imported from Norway, and the jumpers had to land in hay at the bottom of the jump. Despite all that thousands of people came to watch, and the event was such a success it was later held at another iconic London location. �鶹�� London's Harry Craig has the remarkable story of Hampstead Heath's Ski Jump.
