Why is the City of Cambridge only 75 years old?

Available for over a year

Surprisingly, it is only 75 years since Cambridge became a city. King George VI made it official with a royal charter in 1951. A special event has been held at the Guildhall to show off Cambridge's royal charters through the ages, some of them dating back to the 13th century. Bella Hassan went to have a look.
