Meet the people ready for the end of the world
麻豆社 World Service HighlightsAvailable for over a year
Conflict, shortages and climate change have made people anxious about what the future holds. But some have been preparing for a 'doomesday' scenario for years, and say they have the resources and know-how to help them survive a nuclear war, famine or the collapse of society. Krystal in Utah says her and her family are prepared to sustain themselves with their own food supplies if needed. They aim to do this by living off-grid on land they own, where they are growing and consuming their own food. Speaking about what they've done so far, she says, "Right now, we have probably about five years' worth of supply. I've been doing this since I was about three years old.". Krystal has been building on another location, where they will continue to grow their own supplies, and eventually, live.
