Listed Londoner

Available for over a year

David Headley is the co-founder and owner of Goldsboro Books on Cecil Court in the West End. Originally from York, David came down to London to train as a priest when he was just 18. But, in 1999, after deciding the clergy wasn’t for him, David and fellow trainee priest Daniel Gedeon decided to set up a bookshop, exclusively selling the first edition hardbacks. 25 years later the shop is still thriving on ‘booksellers row’. Robert Elms found out about David Headley’s favourite haunts, memories and pet hates.
