Saltburn Cricket club goes viral over 'Click Gate'
Available for over a year
Following cheating allegations, the club's 2nd team's Wednesday match has been cancelled. Saltburn have conceded Wednesday's fixture - a cup game against Marton's second team - with 麻豆社 Sport being told Saltburn were unable to get a team together due to the "holiday season". The club made headlines after a fielder was accused of cheating by clicking his fingers. The North Yorkshire and South Durham Cricket League has started an investigation into a second XI Division 2 game between Saltburn and Norton. A viral video on social media appears to show a Saltburn fielder clicking his fingers as the ball passes Noman Shabir's bat before being caught by wicketkeeper Josh Bowes. Saltburn appeal and the umpire gives Shabir out. 麻豆社 Radio Tees Sport's Rob Law spoke to Steve Bailey about the alleged incident.
