Hong Kong extradition: Debate over bill delayed amid protests

Newsday

Available for over a year

Protestors are blocking roads in Hong Kong leading to the territory's parliament where legislators were due to hold the second reading of a controversial extradition bill. The debate has now been delayed. The World Health Organisation says the current outbreak of Ebola in eastern Congo has spread to neighbouring Uganda. Protest leaders in Sudan have agreed to suspend widespread strikes and return to the negotiating table.
