Canadian jailed in China for spying

A Canadian businessman, Michael Spavor, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison by a Chinese court for espionage. We'll bring you the details from Beijing. We'll look at the wildfires in Algeria which have killed forty five people, including military firefighters. The government claims many of these fires have been started deliberately. And Facebook says it has removed hundreds of accounts with links to a Covid vaccine disinformation campaign based in Russia.
